Theme: VESSEL UNTO HONOUR

2 Timothy 2:19-21 (KJV)

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

 (1 Corinthians 10:7 (KJV)  Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.)

🎯many comes to Church and do everything with us but after the Church meeting, they became a burden because the only rise up to play.

🎯God loved Adam and Eve that He created four rivers for them. He provided everything, He visited them. but the day they sinned God drove them out of the garden.

 WHY DOES GOD HAVE SOME VESSEL UNTO HONOUR AND OTHERS TO DISHONOR IN A ONE HOUSE?

1. Why does God not give men equal anointing?.

• Because He handle every man according to what He knows about him. 
• Any man who do not value God will not be valuable in the hands of God.
• When a mans portion is limited in God, its not the  fault of God but the man.
  

In the kingdom of God, your attitude determines your altitude.

When a man has no desire he does not deserves

Whatever God gives to a man is proportional to his capacity

God gave to one five talent, to another three talent to another one talent but none of them complained of their provisions.

In the house of God, if you fail to purge yourself, or sanctify yourself, you will be replaced because there are many vessels.

 THE HOUSE OF GOD IS A GREAT HOUSE

It is an honor if your life honors God.

Because God is great, everything about God is great.

If you honor God His reward for you shall be great but when you dishonor God the punishment also shall be great.

God is great so the demands of His services too are great.

Everything about a great man is great, so. Because our God is great serving him, and everything about God must be great.

God is too great to have a divided service, obeying God must be total, serving him must be total.

You must be available for his service because he is a great God.

If you serve God in a great way your reward must be great.

Luke 14:25-30 (KJV)

25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

• When God want to make a man to be great, he does not meddle him with the multitude, he picks him out alone, he faces him squarely.
• If God will make you a great man, you must hate every one including yourself and follow him. 
  
• If you must follow God, stop following traditions, things that will come between your services to him.
  
• When you must be a vessel of honor, you must be a permanent student.
• A vessel of honor must not be photocopy but the original, meaning, you must not copy any man but God.
• If you must be a vessel of honor you must hate what others love.

2 Samuel 23:8-12 (KJV)

8 These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.

9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:

10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.

11 And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines.

12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

• The quality of these men is that they served
• When God gives a man a seat, no one can contend with him, he is settled for life.
• When God gives you a seat men can not deny you a seat.
• Vessels of honor are unstoppable because they have a seat among men.
• When you become a vessel of honor you don't mark time.

1 Samuel 22:1-4 (KJV)

1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.

2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

3 And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

4 And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.

• Any head that will carry the crown tomorrow must hide today
• Whenever God anoints a head, Satan also makes that head a target.
• When you are honored or anointed, hide your head from head hunters.
• A satisfied person can not go far in God.
• Anybody who has nothing to suffer will have nothing to offer.
• If you must be a vessel unto honor you must leave the ordinary life and go into the closet.
• To follow the world is the short cut to vanity.
• If you must be a vessel of honor you must give Jesus Christ your attention.
• If you must be a vessel of honor you must be mighty when you are with God.
• When you fail to follow you can not be a leader.
• If you fail to be under authority you can not be in authority.
• You can not be different from the one you spend your time with.
• If you must be a vessel of honor you must select your group of companies you keep.
